I found this wedding dress at the thritstore when we were picking up the Halloween goodies...it's pretty....but I kinda wonder if it's too weird to wear a wedding dress from a thirtstore....any thoughts? Posted by Picasa

Saturday Ken and I headed up to watch Taylor and Trista kick some butt at their soccer game. Good job girls!! The after a quick stop at the thirtstore for a few more Halloween items we headed home to get our house decked out for the Halloween. Ken was in charge up putting up the lights (I have no interest climbing up a ladder-scary!!) and I was in charge of the spider webs (can you see them on the righ side of the front door too). We seem to be the only people on the block with Halloween spirit, but we hope to be inspiration for future Halloweens! Oh yeah and on the way to Taylor's soccer game, a bunch of Halloween candy fell out of Ken's pockets! BUSTED!!! I am going to have to hide the candy so there will be some left for the trick or treaters!!! :P Posted by Picasa

Friday, Ken spent hours working his behind off spreading gravel to turn our mushy, goopy back yard..... Posted by Picasa

Into this...I kinda think it looks like a camping spot at a state park now (yuck)...but at least it's better than the muddy mess it was turning into. And it is definitely incentive for me to get to work on the cobblestone driveway I want to put it. Stay tuned for pictures of that. Posted by Picasa

Here are our pumpins all lit up for spooky halloween night! Muuuaaahhhaaahhhaaaaa Posted by Picasa

Ken and I carved pumpkins while we watched Survivor (1 of 2 best shows on TV-the other is Ken's favorite-LOST) Now we have lots of seeds to roast and a batch of pumpkins decorating our front walk-way Posted by Picasa

5am yesterday morning, Ken started my day with a Happy Birthday banner and a cheese cake with candles on it that played the happy birthday tune :) My bithday card had my gift of tickets to see MYSTERE in Las Vegas in December!!! I have been wanted to go to a Cirque Du Soleil show for years, so I was thrilled to say the least. My day continued with donuts at work and balloons from my mom. After work, Ken took me out to a birthday dinner at the Crab Pot...we both happily left with very full bellies! What a great day (even though I am now Thirty-something! Yikes) :)
