Yet another weekend has come and gone in the blink of an eye...and this one was even a long one! Thanksgiving! Ken and I drove down to Vancouver (no need to tell us we were crazy to drive there on Thanksgiving day...we have heard it a dozen times) and of course got stuck in some ugly traffic. We hung out with my Dad and Cathleen for a bit, careful not to eat enough to have a turkey coma, and headed home that afternoon.
With Ken's love of Thanksgiving and all the fixins, we redid Thanksgiving all over again on Friday! Yummy! This time we stuffed ourselves silly! Yep, I ended up with a pumpkin pie stomach ache!!! (check out the new hair-do...do I look like an adult or what?! gonna have to fix that soon!)
Then of course was the day after thanksgiving christmas decorating day (which was actually saturday now)
Ken really goes alllllllllll out! The yard can't be any more than 20' x 20', but it is packed full of enough stuff for a yard that is a half acre big! It's what I like to call 'Griswalded' in honor of Chevy Chase's Christmas vacation. No need for porch lights when approaching our house, it is light as day even in the darkest night! :) Well done Babe!
I hope everyone had a safe, filling and wonderful Thanksgiving!
